Product Description
The Canari Women’s Padded Cycle Brief’s 7″ inseam is perfect under baggy shorts, pants or a skirt when you don’t want to wear typical “spandex” bike shorts. Made from 90% Polyester / 10% Spandex fabric, it is light weight, moisture wicking, breathable and quick drying. Just the right amount of compression. A Gel chamois with soft fleece top layer eliminates stress points and reduces road vibration. Plush elastic waistband for comfort, gripper leg elastic for fit. Women’s Size Chart (Waist Measurement): SM 25-27″, MD 28-29″, LG 29-31″, XL 31-34″

This liner is exactly what I was looking for — something to wear under my regular pants and shorts to give me medium cushioning while riding. And the price is reasonable. So many of these cycling shorts are crazy-expensive.

I’ve worn these biking “shorts” for the past 3 months and I am pleased with them. They are advertised as underwear, but I have worn them alone as regular shorts…nobody can tell! They don’t squeeze your legs like typical bike shorts and they have just the right amount of cushion if you already have some padding on your bike seat. On my old mountain bike I had a very cushion-y gel saddle which was heaven on my “sit bones”, but I found that I needed some help in, how can I say….”another sensitive area”. These liners did the trick. I recently purchased a new road bike with a pad-less saddle, and, well…ouch! My sit-bones are aching, but that might be because I have to get used to this smaller saddle. Once my body adjusts, I hope these gel liners continue to do the great job they did all summer!

I generally wear a size 14 and ordered extra large as most bike shorts tend to run small if anything. As other reviewers mention, the shorts do run large. The large would probably be a better fit but I sort of like the looser fit on these. They don’t indent your legs like other shorts and yet they still stay in place. The padding is very cushy yet it is flexible and doesn’t give you that diaper feel that some bike shorts have. I wear them under regular shorts when I want a more casual look. You could also get away with wearing them on their own. They may be the most comfortable bike shorts I have worn and I have put many many miles on various bicycles.

I’m wearing these under my padded paddling shorts for dragon boat paddling. The soft fleecy lining of the gel pad is gentle on my skin, and the gel pad perfectly cushions my sit bones. The waist in particular runs large, but I like the way they fit as I don’t like compression clothing.

Decent for the price, but I did not love these. They run a little large (I ordered a medium but probably should have gotten a small, I am an average size 6-8). I wear them under shorts for spinning class and they are fine for that, just wish I had ordered a small!
